Wow thats a large drop.... best suggestion and homebrew tactic is to get some aluminum square tubing(made in different sizes and drill the holes...

But besides that... why such a large drop? you could easily fit what you need with something smaller... But if it suits you

he might actually find it comfortable to have his tank there, or else not have access to many others or a machine shop.

You could always get a 15 degree vertical ASA. While you're at it get some O-rings and plastic detents too.

A spacer for the drop shouldn't be hard to make at all. You don't need threads, just a spacer with clearence holes and longer screws.

well thanks. I see no point in having it collect dust in the bottom of my tool kit when somebody could use it.

That was very honorable Craltal. Glad to see someone representing MCB and AO the proper way.

And just another FYI for the others out there who were so kind enought to point out that NW was out of business, I think we all knew that. I was stating that this part was what he needed to find and since there had been quite a few on Ebay lately, I thought he may look out there for one or ask for one. And, I just happen to have a couple in my tool box just waiting to be used and would have offered them if he had inquired more about the idea. Still, I am glad to see you found something that will work.

As stated earlier all I could find was the NW Quick Disconnect Rail. Is that what you are talking about? The item I saw had no description and a very poor picture. Is it a spacer or does it do something else?

Oh, I had never heard of NW and therefore did not know that they were out of business. So it was news to me.

the Quick disconnect rail is a 2 part piece, one attaches to your gun the other to your tank/ ASA/ drop. There's a pin that you pull allowing quick removal of said device. The idea was you had one tank that you shared between 2 guns. With a quick pull of the pin you can move it to the other gun without having to buy a second tank/ ASA/ drop. Here's a pic of mine in chrome.

With the high turnover rate of regular posters here and the fact that our sport is continually growing, I didn't want to assume that he knew NW was not around anymore. This by no means was meant as anything other than helpful. When it comes to new members, unless i read something to tell me otherwise I assume that the are fairly new to the scene and over explain. Too many days explaining things at work to people who don't know/ care I guess...

While I appreciate all the kudos, all I care about is playing. If I can help somebody play and foster the spirit of good sportsmanship, then it's worth it. Sort of like the "Pay it forward" only I get karma out of it.

BTW, I should get it in the mail to you either today or monday
