Running a Mag on a LP preset nitro tank?

Well despite all the comotion hovering around the new WDP Angel 1, I've decided to buy one. I currently own higly up'd G7-Fly, but I'll need to sell it to get the money for the A1. I've always wanted to get another Mag for a good solid bulletproof backup gun, so I'm probably going to buy something like a RT-Pro or something else as long as it has the RT/X Valve, Level 10 bolt, & preferably a ULE body.

    Sorry for rambling on...

My question is, can I run a Mag w/ a RT/X valve on a low pressure preset (450psi) nitro tank or do they require higher pressure?

As I understand it, mags like 800+ PSI to run and won't cycle under about 400. I do not think an LP will work.

Can one of the real gurus back me up on this?

Ok well there goes one dual purpose part.

What about my Empire Reloader-B hopper. Will it work with a ULE mainbody?

Also, are the feednecks on the ULE mainbody removeable? If so, what threads are they?

I've found that stock AGD feedcups require the neck of the halo to be sanded. They are removable and they are angel threaded. I sanded my halo B to fit a ULE body... now it doesn't fit my clamping feeds on the other guns - but a round or two of electrical tape solves that.

What kind of reg on the tank? Many manufacturs sell pre asembled spring packs for HP or LP yo ucan swap out inside the reg. You're gonna want an HP tank, as that will work on both guns. The A1 and the mag both have on-gun regulators to hold operating pressure.

I dont have an empire loader, but the feedneck is removable so you should be able to get something to fit it. They are angel threaded

I have fit my halo b into my stock ule feedneck, but its a heroic effort to get it in there and back out is even worse! Like they said they are angle threaded so you can easily get another clamping one to fit in. Also just confirming what the others said mags will not run on low pressure, I would not go below 800 psi. Also just a side note, the detents are angle threaded you you have another dual purpose part there.

I guess the ASA and BBD and paintballs are dual purpose too. Things are looking up for you! :)

Thanks for all the help and advice guys, I really appreciate it.

I will have to buy a second HP tank or at least a HP reg to go on my current tank. Most newew Angels won't operate properly on a HP tank and I know the Angel 1 is pretty sensitive about having between 450-500psi input from the tank reg.

I'm glad to hear that the feednecks are Angel threaded. I use to use clamping style feednecks until I bought a used Angel that had a CP twist lock on it and now that's all I'll use. CP sells the twist lock feedneck and a collar that fits different loader types. So if you have a few markers that all get used often you can put the twist lock on all of them and just ceep the collar on the loader. Installs straight, tight, and fast! Everyone I know who's tried them loves them.

Too bad the ULE body wasn't threaded for Angel barrels. It seems kind of strange that it's threaded for an Angel feedneck, but Autococker barrels. Oh well. I planned on getting a barrel kit for both guns, so I can just buy the barrel backs threaded for each specific gun and then the fronts can be shared.

                  Thanks again guys.
