On/Off Pin Length of X-Valve on X-mag Lowers

I am currently using a X-valve (double on/off o-rings) on a X-mag lower with an RPG Shadow Rail (ULE body). The marker seems to be working fine in manual and electronic mode with the stock 0.750 on/off pin and standard X-valve o-rings. However, most posts suggest a 0.712 length on/off with a quad o-ring for a X-valve on an E-mag or X-mag lower. Will my current setup damage my marker (i.e., sear or bolt wear) or is it just less efficient with respect to battery life? Is the 0.712 pin with the quad o-ring a better setup or do I need to optimize the pin length for my particular marker? Thanks for any input.

The .712 pin works better, especially with the quad oring. The shorter pin provides more consistent operation with the emag.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Thanks for the info. Got the same advice from AGD.
