ON/OFF Question

Will the ON/OFF assembly from an E-mag valve fit and work OK in an X-Valve?

Also if it will work, will I need to change out any O-rings or anything? Or will it just slip in and go?

The on/off pin length is the only difference.
So if you're using the xvalve on an emag then you're all set.
If it's on a mechanical mag then you'll need a different pin.

I think he's planning on using it on an E-mag with an RTpro rail. Truthfully I don't know if there is any difference between the rails or not, I don't think there is other than the holes in the sides to mount the RTpro forgrip but I'm not 100% sure. But so it should work then I assume.

E-mags require a .712 pin because of the differences in sear & trigger specs on an E-mag.

If you are using the XValve with E-mag lowers, you will need an E-mag on/off pin, which has a .712 length.

Don't forget the quad o-ring

The quad o-ring replaces the on/off stock top o-ring.It provides less friction then the stock o-ring.It should come with a full e-mag on/off like skown here http://store.airgun.com/index.cfm?fu...&categoryID=24.The quad o-ring is the black one which only comes standard in emag/xmag valves

So on the topic, can you just drop in the E-mag on/off pin and quad O-ring in to say a retro Valve and run it on the E-mag lowers or is more needed? I'm currently using an E-mag with the retro valve and I am curious if the shorter pin would make and noticeable difference in its preformance or if a lack of said pin will eventually hurt it any.

I run a pin shorter than the .712 that comes with the E-Mag and I find it EXTREAMLY easy to get my E-Mags to rip. The pin can be found at Pro-Team Products and I think the length is .687 or something. Call AGD and talk to John or whomever. Ask them what the length of pin goes in the Micro E-Mag.

Im running them in my standard emag, my 2 PTP micro emags, and 1 in my x-valve on my standard micro mag.

Besides that,.... it never hurts to buy a bunch of pins in various lengths because not all mag parts work the same when they are combined.

Yes, the micro-emags do use a shorter .687" pin. I tried a longer .725" pin in a micro-emag and it wouldn't fire.

Standard emag pins are .712".

Regular xvalve pins are .750".
