how does the mq valve work?

I've never really understood how it worked. Is it just a poppit valve thats controlled by a simple push type solenoid? I have a feeling there is more to it then just that.

    Anyone know?

It involves 3 pieces,... a poppet valve, a pull type solenoid (tubular), and a electronic control board (eblade, race, etc)

The valve is reversed. Instead of the solenoid pushing it in,. it removes the force behind the valve and allows the built up pressure in the chamber to slide the valve out of the poppet and let the air exscape into the bolt to fire the gun.

Think how the level 10 works and you can undertand it easily.

Look for a web page under a name called "KJOHNSON" or something,... lotsof information on his page as well as parts information and diagrams.
