I have concidered that. I was trying to build my own gun from scratch but I'm seeing that It would actualy be cheeper to buy the E-mag and call it good. In fact I just gt my ULT trigger in the mail today. LOL Maybe I should sell all my other stuff and then save for the E-mag. I was also concidering a Shocker.Comment

Emag is the way to go
I've had a Boo-Yaah frame. It has its problems. But works great if you have the patience to tinker with your gun to get it tuned right.
Major advantage of the Emag is the Mech override switch. If the electronics go bad, or power drops, you have a built in back-up!
It trips out my teammates when I tell them I've been playing in mech mode the whole game!
Just because I felt like it.

Sometimes you have to move/adjust the position of the solenoid to get it to trip the on-off pin correctly.
Also, if it won't fire and you know you have air and a new battery, check the wires to the board. Over time, they may break, since the wires are very fragile.

i have a hyperframe and havent had a single problem with it. the only issue i had was tuneing the electronics. if they arent tuned correctly you will chop, double feed and what seems like short stroking. i went through a game day and a tournament like that not sure what was going on, then i stumbled accross a thread on here and got it working, now it turns some heads out at the feild.Comment

As far as your board question,... any board will work,. but they all need to be moded. Meaning that in most cases,.. the Molex connectors on the 2 frames in question will not interface with any of the aftermarket boards now because they use 1.25mm connectors where as the hyperframe and boo-yaah connectors are 3.00mm (I think). Best bet for quick install is to order the wire harness with the board that goes to the gun the board is made to drop into. That way,.. at a minimum,.. you have a way to connect to the board but you do all you work off the board on switches and wires.
You have to keep in mind that your work will be in getting the stuff installed. The rest is tinkering with the settings. Focus on getting everything installed and working,.. then add the bells and whistles later. Safer and cheaper to work up than try to un-do a screw up.

I have a Boo-Yaah on a classic with an RT on/off. it works great but I hate the trigger shape. it's too weired feeling and the stock switch sux but it can be changed pretty easy.
my hyper frame is on my Xvalve, ULT mag, 13 bps board (replaced with a T-board).
all around I kinda like the boo yaah better, grip charger, much easier install, just set it up by the buttons.
it took me a week to get my hyper frame to shoot right but it feels better in my hand (t-board)
the main thing i HATE about the hyper frame is the frame screw, if you don't get the one that came with it your gona have to grind your own down. it's an odd length you can't buyComment
