    3rd ball drops velocity

RT PRO w/lvl 10valve, Trigger upgrade, full 114/4500 tank, Reg set at 800 psi. Y grip, Empire barrel. Gun is 18 months old and only been fired a few times,

Today when I was out playing, I was shooting rapidfire, I was getting 2 shots off at normal velocity (no chrono but they seemed to be going at about 275 ish) and the 3rd shot would drop down and it sounded like the gun was running out of air . Give it a second and it was shooting the next 2 balls at normal velocity and again the 3rd ball would drop off .

This was the pattern all day. If I slowed my rate of fire down I would not get the drop off problem But I did not get the amt of paint in the air I wanted either. I know I cannot possibly get my fingers going that fast and out shoot the gun, I dont think I was short stroking the trigger.

I had to have the old Reg on my air tank replaced. It was shooting fine before this. I am not sure if I need to go to an unregulated connection point on the tank or not. The new reg is a pure energy reg. The reg is preset at 800 so I dont think I can change that... any other ideas...

I love My RT and since its the last Marker plan on buying I want to get it shooting up to its potential.

    All help is appreciated.

If it is a screw in tank, make sure the tank/regulator pin is being fully depressed to allow air into the ASA on the gun. Also make sure the pin is not depressed too far. That will cause the air flow problem as well.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
