My new X-Valve doesn't RT?!?!?!

I'm having a serious problem with my new x-valve. It will not RT. I'm no stranger to mags and just upgraded to the X from an RT valve. My RT is awesome, I use the top part of the trigger and just apply a little pressure, the thing shoots 14-16 pbs. I love it, but my gun is all black and I wanted the lighter & blacker X valve. With everything the same, including the same lvl 10 bolt and carrier, this thing barely shoots. I played with the springs, pressure, velocity. But still no RT effect. Sometimes it does a lame thunk sound and doesn't even fire. Please Help...

the rt, and xvlave are exactly alike, but are made of diff materials, and have different names stamped on them. That being said there has to be something that is making one of them reactive, and the other not. Just guessing I would say it is the on/off. What on/off are in each of your valves? Also purchase a set of calipers, and see what the lenght of your on/off pin is. More than likely if you switch on/offs from your rt valve to x valve you will get the same effect.

3. If you are going to use the X-Valve in a RT Pro or Emag, KEEP YOUR ON/OFF ASSEMBLY. The assembly provided with the valve kit will have the wrong size on/off pin for your marker.
