    Recommended Grease?

Ok, just played a big game today, and was almost constantly getting a leak out of the back end of the valve (ReTro w/lvl10). Checked chrono during these leaks, and was shooting in the 270's fairly consistently. My first troubleshooting thought is to replace the reg piston assembly, which I ordered a new one. The valve originally didn't have the lvl10 installed when I obtained it. So anyway.....

When I replace this piston, what kind of grease should I use? I know there was a pretty good coating on there when I rebuilt the valve when I got it. What does AGD use/recommend? Thanks in advance!

Autolube. It is the same thing as goldcup IIRC. Any liquid marker oil should do the trick. IDK if I would use an actual grease. Put your valve together and on the gun. Then put a few drops of oil into the AS. Gas her up, and dry fire for a little bit. That will run lube through every nook and cranny.

Did you lose the O-ring between the valve body and the reg? If that's missing then that's the cause for the leak out the back.

Oh and goldcup and autolube are good.

I use Dow 33 for every grease need. Good stuff.

Ok, I use KC trouble free for regular oiling purposes, but I know a thick grease was used on the springs/reg piston assembly. I am trying to figure out what kind of grease that is. Also I know that it's the reg piston assembly that is causing the leak, because the valve came with a lvl 7 bolt, leading me to believe it has a lower pressure reg piston in it. Lvl 10 works on higher pressure, therefore the lower pressure piston is venting the excess air. Doing its job, but not benefiting me at all....
