Dose the tank make a difference

I run with and x-valve tac-1, remote line 88/45 hp Crossfire tank. Dose the tank you use make a difference in the way the marker shoots? Some one told me that I need 1000 psi to come out of the tank at all times.

no you only need 750 psi for the xvalve to cycle.anything above that makes the valve more reactive like the tippmann respnse trigger. the higher you go the more bounce your trigger will have but that feature is illegal in most tournaments.

the tank can have an affect on how the gun shoots. for x-valves the recommended tank output pressure is between 800-1000 psi. i generally keep mine at 850-900. the more pressure the faster the valve recharges, i think. if your tank outputs under 800 you might have some chuff/recharge problems.
