Dropin the X & go ......

Hey fellow Magers . ive been putting an UltraMag(ULE) 2gether & picked up an X valve . can i just drop it in or do i really need 2 fine tune it ? i shoot MiniMags & bought 1 new with the level 10 installed at AGD & it works beautifully . can't i just drop it in -n- go ?

the only fine tuning needed may be the level 10 bolt ... sure you can drop it in and go no problem ... but you may get chops ...

I may have been lucky, but my new x-valve in a 68 automag body dropped in without adjustment. I did have a problem with the thumb screw being about 3/32" too long. I ground it down for that weekend and ordered a new one. The lvl10 worked out of the box with no chops since.

Don't forget to lube through the ASA and turn the velocity up as it says in the instructions.

Don't expect a reactive trigger with a preset bottle reg.

After I started running the x-valve reactive, I had to get a loader faster than my old revvy, just like the guys here said I should.
