This is not really a tech question, but I was wonder how loud the standard minimag unported barrel is? I have a barrel that I want to cut down to the same length as the stock and I want it to have the stock look. I was just curious how loud of a thunder I would generate when shooting. Anyone have an idea?

yeah, it's loud. it's really loud... if you want that, you got it... good luck cutting your barrel down. hope that works out for ya... i've got a 10inch dye... it's short, it lets you hit things, and it's not so loud. I'd recommend one to you... get an oldschool 10in dye stainless, i'd let it go if you wanted it...
