Boomstick Length
What length boomstick is best for an automag? I want it to be as accurate as possible, but have seen the recommended length for a barrel is 11 inches, but Tom says 8-10 effective.

I think 12 looks the best... I have a 14 on my mag.. and its just a little too long.
10" boomsticks are cool... but they look wierd to me.If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you. -

not sure the exact measurements for a boomstick but i think you'll have to get one about 16" for it to be most effective. as the back half is the only effective length, the rest with the porting is just for silencing.-Paul-

i had a 8" venturi when ihad my mag and that shot just as good if not better than a 12 boommer, and 11-12 is the recomended size for a mag i believe, corret me if i am wrongAO member # 949

i have a 14" boomstick coming in and i'll tell you how it is. i've heard the optimum length is 12" to 14".
