when i air up my shoebox, the bolt slides forward to the shot position, and when you pull the trigger it goes through the regular shot cycle but in reverse. hope this makes sense. please help.

Well... Shockers are closed bolt guns, so it should be airing up with the bolt forward. I'm not really sure what you're asking, though.Autocockers are the greatest markers ever made.
