    Powertube springs?

I have heard about these in the past, but nothing recently. Are there advantages to using the original Powertube springs as opposed to the Powertube spacers? I have a bag of 8 that I received in a parts kit from a Mag I bought.

Can these be used in an Xvalve w/ lvl 10?

I know they're "old school" and the original spacers, but why were they not used in the later produced mags?

Any help would be great. Thanks!

They can not be used with the level 10.

The springs tended to get weak after time and could cause leaking issues either one will work fine but I believe the spacers are just one thing that once you get the right one installed you shouldnt have to worry about it for a long time or if you have alot of wear on your sear/bolt.

The powertube spacers replaced the springs because they offered a small amount of tuning ability to reduce bolt stick and give the trigger a more crisp feel. The springs worked well and lasted a long time between changes. Lots of people never noticed the difference in performance.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
