    WGP Trilogy Pump

    Will it work?
    Should I do it?
    Will it be accurate?

I want to make a pump out of a autococker, and having never owned a cocker I am not sure the difference between them. My buddy has a STO cocker that he said if he can find all the parts he will give me, should I just use that over a trilogy. The trilogy is so attractive b/c they are crazy cheap on ebay.

Have you ever played pump before? Trilogy pumps are REALLY nice guns, but not Sniper nice.

What I mean is, the pump weight is about that of a Phantom, not quite as light as a standard Sniper, but nowhere near heavy. Also, the build quality is less than superior, being a low-end Autococker and all.

That being said, I loved mine! Never had any problems what so ever.

I used to have one (got stolen). It really was a great performer. The only upgrade suggestions I would give are to get a delrin bolt. It'll lighten up the pump that much more. Are you using the PMP pump kit, or the Vendetta? I had a PMP and have zero complaints about it, but have not tried the Vendetta. Not to mention PMP ships FAST! You should have it within 3 days of ordering.

Also, Trilogy's tend to be lighter than most Autocockers. Not all, but it was a lot lighter than many of the Snipers I had used before. This packed along with a small 45rnd hopper and a small tank (with a Cali style stock. Gotta run it Cali! ) made for a really compact and really light setup. I had no problem getting to the fifity off break!

If you are serious about pump play, I'd definately say go with a standard Sniper. If you want a cheap, but great performing pump just to putz around with, go with the Trilogy pump. For the price, you really can't beat it. It's definately one of the best "low-end" pumps around.

I have played pump before, but I used a friends marker and I liked it but now I am looking for my own marker. I just want something cheap but still perform, so I can get my feet wet and see if I like pump.

I just talked to my other buddy with the STO and he is going to give me what he has on saturday, should I use the STO or get a Trilogy...

I am leaning towards the STO b/c its free all I need is the pump kit, and some misc. parts.

I'll make you a deal. If you don't like the STO. I will buy it from you for the cost of the pump kit + the misc parts.

          Sound good?

YES! Keep the STO! It'll be a whole lot nicer than a Trilogy pump. Definately a lighter and smoother pump action. A CCMpump kit with autotrigger and 86* frame is only $150 as a package on www.pmpind.com. The CCM kits are smooth as butta and the 86* frames are just as nice.

Or you could pick up just the CCM kit for like $60. Or the PMP Sniper pump for like $40.

Buy a CCM kit and 86* frame for the STO. I don't know what else the STO could be missing, but it couldn't be much more then $40 worht of ebay parts.

I have no right to sell it b/c it is getting given to me one friend to another.

Another guy play with has a CCM J2 (I think that is what its called) the model before the new series 6, that thing has such a smoth stroke, and very nice milling.
I dont want to spend to much just yet so most likely I will be getting the CCM kit for $60.
