my valve is cross threading

ok, i took apart my gun and when i put it all back together i went to put in the valve, but the screw wouldn't go it! It felt like it would get stuck. So i took out the valve and apart from the gun i started to screw in the bolt, It goes in at an angle! What do i do? its a SS emag valve

You should run a 10/32tpi bottoming tap into the hole. This should clean up the threads.
