    New to Mags

I just received my Tac One. I was suprised at how lite the marker was. I am new to mags so I have a few questions.

    1. The box came with a package of springs and little round thingies(I don't think thats the technical term). What are these parts and do I need to do anything with them?

    2. Besides looks is there any advantage to using the gas through handle?

I hope the tac one lives up to everything that I have read. I have been shooting a cocker for years and I am looking for something a little less finnicky.

    Thanks

Your marker has a level 10 bolt. These are spare springs and spacers for fine tuning. (should be tuned though) See the big level 10 guide at the automags.org homepage.

No, not if you are using compressed air ( You better be) You can still run it though for looks or if you dont want hoses to get in the way.

You will LOVE it! Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the Automag world

    Thanks

Greg already hit the main points.

My recent RT Pro had some fine tuning needed once I received it. I was able to go one carrier size up (those are the little round parts you mention) for the Lvl 10. Also, my marker came from the factory with the shortest spring installed (the brass one) and I have found that the middle spring, the red one, is usually the best to use unless you need to chrono under 260 fps - then you will probably need to use the shortest spring.

Here is a link to the Lvl 10 guide on the front page of AO:

In my experience, those that take up AGD markers end up loving them to death. You can do a lot of customizing, they are very simple to maintain, and they are all-around a well-made piece of gear. If you put up with taking care of an Autococker for years, the Tac One should be a very nice surprise.

I like it a lot. It makes the trigger a complete feather to pull. Have seen it said that using it will lower your overall bps, but I find that I shoot fast as I need to with the ULT kit.

Okay you've convinced me. You and the fact that I couldn't move my fingers after a day of playing with the tac-one. Any ideas where I can find a ULT?
