BPS question (e-mag and ULT mag)

I know these are definitely somewhere else, but there are so many threads here it is hard to search.

I'm basically looking for a ball park, just a normal non adjustable tank. What is the bps of an X-Valved E-Mag and an Automag with x-valve/lvl10/ULT/intelli?

um the ult... would be unwalkable. or some say they are. but they really arent that much. depends really. but the intelli wouldnt matter. :P

as far as emag. i would say as fast as you can pull your fingers.. it all comes down to the emag actually being walkable.

if thats all you really wanted you could go with a pneumag.(pneumatic mag) which the trigger activates a 3-way which than opens and allows air from a lpr, which than runs to a actuater that strikes the sear. these can be picket up for 5(actuator{mpa-3}) 10(3-way{msv-2}) and a lpr for a autococker(15). with this you would not need batteries and would have a trigger pull of around 50g-100g.

The ult can be walkable with much tuning and walking practice. The trigger pull is light but not that light. I'd say 10-11bps would be the best you could hope for and you might not ever get that. The emag, you might be able to do 20bps before drop off on a non adjustable tank. You know you can shim the spring pack on a non adjustable tank to raise the output pressure.

I cant walk my ult/xvalved mag but the trigger is very light so I can shoot like 6-7bps all day without my finger getting tired. I can walk my x-mag 13-13bps, but thats because I suck at walking.

          .
im fairly certain no matter how much pressure is in the valve, the ULT makes it FLAT. the way to get reactivity out of a ULT is to add a bunch of shims ~8-9 should do the job

no, past like 5 it barely fits in the body, and at like 6most i ever tried I think) i have to use a pick to hold the on off in while i pushed it into the body. 4 gave me plenty of reactivity..

probably using lvl10 shims then, theyre twice the thickness, and 2x4=8

Tom states in a few posts that as far as mechanics, the ULT cant go beyond 20bps. Thats just due to simple physics. I dont understand why, but the man said so,... so take it as 99.99% law.

I have found an EXTREME case where this was not true. The gun was on electronic timing and had a TON of bounce. Reliably, it was not good. Once I got the ULT and the electronics set to perform like a normal everyday semi-auto, the ROF was right around 20bps.

Still when you think of an E-Mag set to 17bps,... its very fast!

I have managed to hit a short burst of 16 bps with a shimmed ULT, but I cannot come anywhere near sustaining that. My normal sustained fire is about 8 bps if I am "in tune" with the marker. For my style of play, that is plenty.
