hyperframe solenoid help

i took my microswitch out and had my 2 wires that are normally connected to the switch out free. now my solenoid doesnt work when i touch the wires together like it should. did i fry something? everything on the board still works. it says FIRE when i touch the switches together, but the solenoid doesnt click shut like it usually does when force is applied to the button.

Be shure to reset the noid. The on/off reset the sear in normal operation.

not only that, if it's too far back it won't fire, mine does this if it si all the way back, it gets out side of the magnetic field
