    ULT Shims do what?

Can someone tell me what the shims do? I have 4 in there now but not sure what they do. Do they increase ROF?

they increase/decrease the length of the on/off pin which will increase/decrease the reactiveness/ length of your trigger pull

So they essentially push the top of the on/off up, since the bottom sits on the inside of the body? If you put too many in, will it start to squeeze the orings and make the pin stick? Or will the pin be too short to go into the oring anyway? (yes and yes?)

Does this run along the same lines as 'shaving' an RT pin down? The way I have been looking at it, it's all about shortening the travel of the pin in the oring when it is already sealed off. Is that right, you think?

I cut all my on/off pins to .687 which is the PTP Micro E-Mag length. I find it VERY easy to bounce the trigger and thats what Im testing my EP Kits with to start.

        So far,... very good results.

Wow, that's the shortest I've heard of. I would not have thought the on/off would stay sealed until the sear engaged again. How long is the pin top, about 0.100"?

That's what I thought, but my new ones have always been tight so I was afraid to turn them with a wrench. Do they come with any thread locker on them?

I was thinking about shimming my X-Valve on/off, because the reactivity wasn't very strong. But apparently it wore in and started working. I got judge punched at a scenario for shooting 19 bps. I had to back my reg down to around 800 to get to 15 bps.
