    Removing Feedneck on ULE body

Please excuse the ignorance, but how do I remove the stock ULE feedneck? I've never had to remove a feedneck before and I don't want to do anything wrong to mess up the threads.

    Thank you!

itll require alot force. it is loctited in so maybe boiling it or something for a little bit, but if you dont plan on using the feedneck anymore you could just drill a hole through the sides and stick a screwdriver thru and twist off.

I have luck using a strap wrench. it's on there pretty damn tight, but with a nice soft-strapped strap wrench you can get it off with no damage at all.
Pirates rule. And yeah, I suppose Automags do, too.

I got it off by accident by trying to tighten my hopper down too much..feedneck unscrewed right off. Then you have to smack it off the loader with a wrench lol. but it works. strap wrench works the best though.

i just wrapped a set of pliers with a cloth rag (to protect the paint on the feedneck) and twisted the sucker right off.

Red Loc-Tite is used to retain the feedneck. Applying some heat will loosen the Loc-Tite.
