I have now read too many old posts on pneumags. 
A QEV is always listed as 'optional', and it's good for the last couple of bps. But I don't see anytime that a QEV was added to make a pneumag work much better.
On a classic valve with intelliframe, shooting semi-auto only, will a QEV help the rate significantly (or at all) on a (MPA-3) pneumag?
