    it's drop and shoot. unless you put a ULT (which, you should).

    with the ULT there is a small amount of tuning. i won't waste my time going into it unless you decide to go with it (which, you should)

    also, do you already have the level 10? (cuz, you should)

      no i dont have the level ten because 1. the x comes with it and two, one of the field owners where i live owns afew dif mags and said that if i am going to get the x-valve than i shouldnt even waste my time with the lvl 10 because if you dont know what your doing than its a pain to tune, so im all for not being a pain. and i will look into the ult, another question though. . . will i really need that ult if i am getting an intelliframe???

      thx for the help

        The 'Go-X' valve was a drop-in and shoot for me, on an old stainless powerfeed body. I think it has had about six cases of paint so far. Between it and the adjustable reg I bought for the tank, the system reactivity was still improving up to that last case. I'm hoping it has stabilized so it will stay under 15bps when I set the input pressure.

        I studied the threads on lvl 10 tuning before it arrived, but the bolt reset worked perfect. I haven't blown paintball confetti out of the power feed since.

        Consider lvl 10 tuning as your homework.

        I was told that I would want a faster loader, and they were right. My revy would give me about five shots and a chuff.

            To add to his question, I too am considering the X-valve program, because i just found myself an RT pro. I'm trying to keep the cash spending on the low so i can afford a warp feed, ule body and barrel, so im wondering if it's worth it to just save for the X-valve or go with a lvl 10 for my RT pro valve. I'm no rich boy, and have other things to spend my money on, but would it really be worth it to just wait for an X-valve or just lvl 10 my existing valve?

              you have an rt-pro valve? if you do it's the same thing as an x-vlave except in some cases w/o a level 10. it's cheaper to just buy the level 10 than get a whole new x-valve.

                lvl 10s come up on ebay sometimes. You have to be sure that they include all the carriers and shims though. The X-valve is considerably lighter than an stainless valve. I actually missed the weight from that big chunk of stainless. So I got another one.

                  Your rt valve and the x valve do the exact same thing! except the x valve is lighter.
                  i would recomend a lvl10 and ult.
                  if your going to do the exchange i will buy your rt valve and you can pick up a classic valve for under or about $50! whatever you do dont send in your rt valve for the exchange...they go for over or around $100.
                  if your not up to the tuning im sure you can find somone here to do it for you.

                    That's a good point for an RT. I traded in an old AIR valve that would take some drilling to get the recharge rate up, in addtion to the lvl 10 purchase and new on/off.

                      So the only difference between my RT pro valve and the X valve is weight? Pfft... after going from a heavy Tiberius 9 playing tactical to the RT, its a relief in weight. I will definitely get the lvl 10 though, it's next on my parts list. Thank your guys for the info, im still relatively new to the mag world, but im catching on.

                        so you are telling me that the only dif between the x-valve and the lvl 10 is WEIGHT!!!!! and if it is just weight, what about the tuning of the lvl 10, i have heard that its worth getting the x just because its drop and shoot.....i dont mind saving alittle longer to get the x-valve but if up-grade wise all im paying for is weight that F that.

                        let me know (rock on)
