    Air tank recomendations

    Hi,
I'm getting a RT mag from a DM4 (yayy another converted lol) and the tank I had for my DM was a crossfire 70/45 but it is low pressure reg. I know that this won't work on a mag, but I also know that the more pressure you get from your tank, the more bounce effect you get. Any suggested tanks? I'm probably gonna try to get an Angel convert to trade with, so the more good tanks I have the better hances I will have of getting a trader.

Also, the gun I'm getting had a ULT trigger. Does this effectively kill the bounce effect? If so, do you guys enjoy nil pull or bounce better?

    Thanks alot!

ULT Kills the bounce, though there are some that still have it work with the ULT, not sure how though...

Any tank with 850 or higher OPP. I know you can get cross fire tank set at 1000 pSI.

Thanks for the response, I just called up crossfire and they said they can put on a reg of theirs that's not meant for paintball but with the same design as their paintball regs that can give an output of 1200 psi. I've heard of regular mags (as in not modified to run straight off a scuba) running around 1000 psi, but will 1200 psi be too much? Thanks.

Just out of curiosity, what do you mean by bounce effect?

The trigger being reset by the RT valve.

Actually with the ult it can be easy to "bounce" full auto on only 800 psi just add more shims to it, that makes the pull shorter and the bounce is easier. the ult feels very diffirent from the stock one, there are a ton of people that would tell you both are good for diffirent reasons.

iv seen 3000psi straight input from a scuba tank 34.5 bps bounce... anything is possible on a mag

is he sending you the ult and the stock one?
if so its easy to switch them out and try them both you might find the stock one too your liking, or since you have the 1200 the ult should be super bouncy

He is sending just the ULT because it came with it from the factory. Zak Vetter briefly taked about how it was possible to get the ULT to bounce, but he said he had no experience with ULT's so I thought I would ask. I guess I'll just use the ULT because like you said, with 1200 psi you can almost get a classic to bounce

It has macro line on it right now, I assume I'll have to change that for use with 1200 psi. I want to run to get the same loop as other mags, where it just goes to the foregrip and then up to the valve (I don't mean using it as a gas thru)? I'm planning on using a quick disconnect at the vave, which takes up some space obviously so what length of hose do I need. Better yet, if someone has one for sale that'd be great. I looked all over the BST but I guess they just get old with the mag they're on. Thanks for the help, guys.
