What kind of nubin are you using? I find that if I use the metal ones, I will get more breaks than the plastic ones. Switch to a plastic one to see if that helps.

I have a twist lock freak and it works fine. Either you have a lemon or there is something up with your nubbins.

The problem here is that ever since Smart Parts sued Airgun Designs and tried to run them out of business, AGD markers have refused to co-operate with the poorly manufactured and low quality products from smart parts.. lol. I always think that having a smart parts product on an AGD or AKA product is just bad karma, and I don't believe in karma..

Only problem is that I have a minimag body, so it has to be twist lock. I wish I have the money to get a ULE body and a DW barrel, but I can't. So it looks like my only option is get another twist lock back right??

It's almost as if when they machined the back it was set wrong, making the groove for the insert at a slightly different angle than the rest of the barrel.
Mine looks like that down the front. The place I bought from gave me front with a dented lip on the back of the front piece, where the insert goes part inside. Is your back piece dented?

                      Nah no dents

                      **EDIT**

Pic of barrel with insert in it. It's really really blurry but you can kinda get a feel for what I'm talking about.

I have to agree, I think that karma is the problem.

I had the same problem but it was the tip that caused the ball breaks.
I have several tips but only one did the damage. It looked mint condition. Then one day I set that tip on a table, and it wobbled slightly. It turns out it was slighty bent. The balls were hitting the end on the way out.
Take your end and roll it on a table to see if that's the problem.

I'm waiting on 3 of those adapters from Doc, and in the meantime I bought 3 from other sources, so if you want one and can't get through to Doc (you'll see, he's very busy) then PM me.
