Co2 / Air question

Okay.. im new to compressed air. I use co2 on my tippman. I bought an Automag with Retro Valve and told cant use co2. I have a few times and it seems to work fine. I have a place here in my town were i can get Compressed air tanks filled. I went to price some on the net and they have nitro tanks..and so many others.. what one do i need for compressed air. I dont want to have to get a regulator and all that stuff. I want one that will shoot 1500 + balls if there is such a thing. Help... no making fun of me either.. i told u im new with the air stuff.

Look for a preset screw in tank set for "high pressure" or 850psi output. It can be above 850psi, but that's what you'll want minimum. When things say 4500 and 3000 that is not the output, that's the pressure it is stored at. 4500 psi will get you more shots per tank. A 68 cu 4500psi tank will get you about 800-1000 shots.

Nitro refers to Nitrogen, same properties as compressed air. You can use either in an hpa tank. These tanks have pre installed regulators.
Look for an 88ci or 114 ci tank if you need to go all day with a fill. If you can refill after every game or so 68ci will be lighter.

Nitrogen really helps the retrovalve system shoot at it's max ROF and not freeze up orings.

If your looking to go 1500+ shots on a single fill, you will need a 4500 psi tank, and it better be 90 cubic inch or larger. A 90cu tank should put you in the 1200+ range with decent barrel and paint choices. A 114cu might put you where you'd like to be, but it won't be "agile" by many opinions.

88's and 90's can be had at fairly cheap prices all over - check PBN, since big tanks aren't agg, you'll save a buck or two there. 114's are getting harder to come by new, but hunting for used ones shouldn't be too hard. PM going_home, I think he has a large tank he was trying to sell.
