    One or the other?

I've got a bit of an issue, which seems to be fixed but I just want to double check.

I got to play out with my mag again recently and it was doing something funky. Not every shot, but every once in a while the trigger would go limp and air would start comming out the barrel. Now it wouldn't happen just on strings of shots, but also on first shots. I was using new balls too. So I played with it and decided that I was starving my gun of air. I put an o-ring in the ASA and it seemed to do fine only going limp maybe once more after the so-called repair.

Now the question is, am I really starving my gun of air or is my Lvl 10 not working right? It's worked right before, but that was about 5 months ago and the gun has been sitting ever since. But we all know mags. They're tough. Any ideas?

Yeah it seems like the symptoms when you get down to those last 20 shots off of a tank. If starvations is the problem the only obscure thing that has happened to me is screwing the air fitting all the way (and I mean as far as it could go) into the side of the valve. Screw it in until it doesn't leak and then another half turn to be safe. (I doubt this is the problem, but worth a try if all else fails).

Other possibilities: Snug up your field strip screw with a key, but don't crank it. (I found that hand tightening it isn't quite enough)
lube up your bolt a bit more between the bolt and spring and bolt and power tube.

..and if you are running an emag give your battery a good charge.
