Tac one Shooting full auto only

HI, First off I like my tac one But I have yet to shoot it as it seems I have some bugs in it. When I turn the HPA there is no leaks But as soon as I pull the trigger the marker foes full auto and eats thou a 88/4500 tank in less than a minute. I know something is making it do this and it may not be a big deal. This Marker was bought off a guy that never shot it so Its not worn out. Any help in this would be great as I would really enjoy to be added to the many many happy mag shooters out there.

    Thanks -

we need a little more information to be able to help you. I believe normally if its going full auto it sounds like a ULT trigger kit problem. pull the valve out and take the on/off out of the valve, see if it has shims or if its a solid piece of machined brass. If its got shims its the ULT trigger kit. remove one at a time and try airing it up each time you remove a shim.

Is it a preset tank? My Flatline at 1200 does this.

      But really what's the problem?

Well I'm not sure how else to say this
The brass piece was out i guess it fell on the floor now a small o ring is out as well from what I can see the small o ring goes on the bottom( end that goes in to the valve first) But it does not fix the problem

From what I can see it looks like there are 2 o rings under the brass valve But I only see one

yeah if its the x-valve there should be 2 o-rings under the on/off. did you drop one or was it never there to begin with?

the smaller one will fit fairly snug around the on/off pin. and the larger o-ring will actually fit over the smaller o-ring.

Also from your post it sounds like the standard on/off assembly and not the ULT assembly

yeah it looks that way. Start with that and if your still having problems, we'll still be here.

Heres some pictures to help out

This is what it would look like with the 2 o-rings. When you put it back together though. Put the outer o-ring in the valve first and press it into it's groove with a pencil or similar blunt object.

This is what the 2 o-rings look like apart

This is just a comparison to the ULT valve on the left. Note the shims near the bottom. and it does not use the 2 o-ring arrangement near the top.

*edit* You might be better off buying a complete o-ring kit Tunamart sells mag o-ring replacement kits for 20$ should have all the o-rings you might need. Someone will correct me if im wrong but Im fairly sure thats the part kit you'll want, Or you can buy single o-rings from AGD I believe.

Another option you have is buying the ULT on/off assembly, It'll lighten your trigger pull and should increase the ROF of the marker but thats your choice its also 47$ dollars at tunamart. They call it the ULE trigger pull kit.

Hey could we get the mods to move these pictures to the ULT thread which is stickyed in the tech forum, since the ones which were there are long gone?
