    Newb Question

I just recieved my Tac-One, and the cd about the level 10 bolt doesn't work. Considering I am not that experianced this leaves me in the dark. But my question is shouldn't the level 10 already be installed in the gun? and all the parts are just extra? If it is, then what do you need to do to just tune it, since everything I find for the level 10 is instructions on installation. If not, I can try to follow the guide for installing it.

    lvl 10 guide

welcome to AO. not sure if this is what you're looking for.

lvl 10 should be installed, but sometimes it needs a little adjusting (changing carriers, adding shims)

I looked through that and it's not too clear for what I want. That has all the instructions for installing and such, but what do you need to do to tune from a factory installation? Do I have to test different carrier sizes or change the main spring? I'm not interested in it being super-tuned, but I have heard you need to do your own tuning if you get it installed already.

have you given it a try yet? If you air up the gun and it shoots ok, no leaking down the barrel or anything, than you are probably ok. You should be able to stick your finger in the breech with it aired up and pull the trigger, the bolt should stop on your finger. Might want to try that with something other than your finger first.

It's been along time since I've messed with a lvl 10 kit. Try your gun out with just air, and if there seems to be a problem, than post what it is and AO can help you from there.

That means you can't leave a description at 'it doesn't work'.

I'll do that, but it will be around 10 days before I can get a chance. So if I do have problems i'll revive this thread. Thanks.
