    Leaking X-Valve

Hey guys, i m having a problem with my new automag which i just bought recently. I took it on the field for the second time. When i aired it up, the rear part of my gun (on the x valve) it started hissing, at first i thought it was because of the high pressure on my gun because when i shot a ball to chrono it read 335 fps. After chronoing it back down to 275~ish and dry firing the gun for a whole tank of air. It still had air leaking out. I m assuming its a O-ring problem..perhaps? If anyone can give any suggestion on what the problem maybe it would be greatly appreciated and also i wondering if anyone can give me a link or point me to where i can find a good picture or manual instructing on how to take the x-valve apart, because i have never taken one apart before and i know that there are quite a few tiny parts that make up the x-valve and i don't want to lose or damage any of them. Thanks for taking the time to read and help me out

    Cheers,

The AGD website has detailed pictures of the x-valve, and good troubleshooting flowcharts.

rhetorical question, does anyone search for the obvious?

Look where it says retro valve blow up diagram (retro valve/xvalve basically the same thing). Also we can help you diagnose problems with your mag but you'll need to be more descriptive of your problem and setup .... ie I'm shooting a rt pro with a ult and level 10 bolt and its leaking down the front of the gun but stops when hold the trigger back will tell us that you need to go to a smaller level 10 carrier.

Oops i reread your post , leaking out the rear where you adjust the velocity is usually caused by the regulator piston but can be caused by the oring on the regulator piston as well
