Lvl 10 Bolt stick and Leak

Ok, so I just installed a level 10 kit on a minimag with a centerflag hyper frame electronic grip frame. The problem is that when you stop the bolt with a finger or a paintball the bolt doesn't return to it's normal resting position and it vents air out of the bolt and has to be reset by removing the barrel and pushing the bolt back with your finger. I'm using the shortest spring because I couldn't get under 300fps and have the gun fire consistently with the long ones. The power tube oring is set correctly I believe, because the next carrier causes a leak. I currently have 4 shims installed and when I add the 5th, I get a leak. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Chris

Take the Hyperframe off and try the same setup with your stock frame. I would bet money that the problem goes away...

Well, I don't have a stock frame to try this with. Have any other suggestions? Why would the hyper frame be causing the bolt to stick? Do you think the hyper frame is somehow interfering with the sear pin and holding the valve open? All the same abandoning the hyper frame would be a step back as far as upgrades.

what he means is take it one step at a time. using a stock frame would eliminate the hyperframe as a problem and then troubleshoot accordingly. once the marker works, throw the hyperframe back on and go from there.

Yeah, I guess I'm a little crazy. I pay severe attention to detail and can be considered OCD, I just don't get the connection between a seemingly unrelated part ie: grip frame and the problem, bolt stick and leak. Anyway, I still don't have a grip frame to test this theory. Also, I've never had the bolt stick before the Level 10, and the gun never fails to go back to its "resting" position, or even hicup except when the bolt is stopped by a paintball, finger ect.

I changed the oring used in the carrier, and then retuned the carrier with the different oring as advised by someone on here in a different forum. Now the system works quite well. Silly little oring.
