    aright emag problem....

aright. here is the problem. i think its my On-Off assy(and regardless, i need a new one--ill get to that--, so that will be purchased) but could anything else do this to me?

i gas it up and everything seals. put the battery on and pull. bang, bang, bang, bang, bang. i get 5-6 shots then it stops firing. turn it to RT mode, bang, bang. back to Emode: bang, bang, bang. get three off then i have to go back to RT for one or two. back to E: bang, bang, bang

it keeps going on and on like this.
as for the on-off assy, my on-off pin somewhat sticks in the assy and it has been filed at the bottom b/c when i got it(used) it was slanted at the bottom. ive filed it down so it will at least work somewhat, but it still doesnt work. my main question is: can anything else really be at fault for this or is this the only problem? thanks

How are your wire connections? Check all the wires to the circuit board and the solenoid. How many magnets you got in the trigger? It may just be the screwed up on/off pin.

Too short of an on/off pin will cause a gun to fire on its own. What happens is the on/off pin pushes down on the sear to recharge the gun and air is able to get into the dump chamber, but the sear isn't pushed up far enough to completely catch the bolt so the bolt has all that pressure building up behind it, so it fires itself.

They have the on/off pins in E-Mag length if you go to the Online Store an order from there. But if you want the entire assembly, call them and order it specifying you need the black quad o-ring and the E-Mag on/off pin. It's cheaper to buy the whole assembly at $35.

Didn't you have this problem before? If so, my suggestions are still the same

Check to make sure you have not bent your sear rods in any way, the solenoid plunger/sear must move freely.

Also make sure the power tube is still properly welded to the valve. (the MicroE's broke loose)

Just for the record, I had a MicroE-Mag that ALWAYS did that fail to fire thing. (PTP took it back, and gave me an E-Mag!) Now, life is good!

It might be a good time to send 'er in the Mothership (AGD)

              Good Luck

since nobody has any brilliant ideas, ill try the RT on-off valve assy and if that doesnt do it, ill call up AGD and send it back in(and get a few other things fixed at the same time)
