    Need some thead ID's

title should say thread, cant type on lappy

Hey there, I'm trying to make my make-shift parts kits and want to know some theads that would be helpful for my markers. I would like to know the thread ID for the front frame screw and the length. I would also like to know the bottomline threads, length will vary on my rail or direct mount (CP) so ill just comepare to the one's i have. Also, I would like to know the threads and length for the frame screws for a swing frame for a 2k+ cocker, if you happen to know them it would be great. Any other common threads would be nice too, maybe something I've overlooked.

Thanks In advnced, sorry for not searching for everything, I'm on my way out and will check this when I can.

[edit] also can i get the standard hex head size for the screws, some of mine are stripped and im using a larger size to be able to use them.

all mag screws are #10-32. the grips/brackets are #8-32. Lowes and Home Depot both have them in ss with hex head. As for length I believe the front frame is either 5/8 or 3/4 long, and the lenght for your asa will vary depending on thickness of it.

Thanks, With your help I went and measured the length for something to go on. I'll head on down to home depot and pick up enough to complete my kit.

        Thanks again

The hex size for the 10-32 is 1/8", but you should not have a choice in that.

The Intelliframe bottom screw holes go all the way through and are about 5/8" thick, so unless you have a jam packed pneumag or ep mag you should try to use all of the thread it gives you. Some people hang those monster bottles off of them (114s IIRC) or use them as bunker clubs.

You can even get black grip screws at Home Depot at least.
