    emag valve ULT

ok so it has been determined that i will need ULT to make my hyperframe function properly.

so i know it is not reccomended to use ULT with the emag, but if i had an emag valve with ULT would it work with the hyperframe?

It should work the main reason the ult was not recommended was the ult didnt have a enough reset force to reset the emags rather large solenoid and sear assembly reliably .... If when you take out your on/off valve and looking in the hole and see two oring you can use a ult .

Not true you can use a emag on/off with a .712 pin. The key is to make shure the sear is all the way forward when the marker is ready to fire. You can remove the safety fire the marker a couple of times push the sear leg forward if it moves use a .750 on/off pin from an RT on/off. A ULT will only give you a little more battery life. I think your problems is in your noid activation rod to sear leg distance. See this post: http://www.automags.org/forums/showthread.php?t=214029

i have tried moving the solenoid.....the only way it will fire is to have the noid all the way to the back(close as possible to the sear leg).Is it possible the solenoid has went bad,or gotten too weak?

Basicly the noid is an electro magnet so the life of your noid should be a long long time. The gap is critical to give the noid enough time to pick up speed & hit the leg with sufficent force. Check the positive/negative battery connections & the noid wire for a good solid connection. What are your settings? When I was using a RT valve with a .750 pin or an emag valve with .712 pin my setings where 5/1/5. I now have an xvalve with a ULT and my settings are 4/1/5. The energy seting has only went down by one number. Use an 1/8" gap between the noid rod and sear leg and try to raise energy setting.
