    Forced the valve

Forgetting what the directions and a Local mag lover directed me to do when removing the valve from the Tac-One I did not hold down the trigger but yanked the valve out the back of the body. I would like to know what gets damaged when you yank out the valve w/o holding the trigger down.

hard to say, its mostly aluminum, and I doubt you yanked so hard you broke the aluminum. Its possible to mess up the spring, which would be bad.

Obviously, FORCING any part on a mag, and ESCPECIALLY an X-Valve is a

Put it back together and air it up, make sure it works. If it doesnt, take pics of the vavle, and the internals of the gun where it came out - and we might be able to help.

The sear can get damaged, or the on off pin. If you YANKED it it could have damaged it, bit if it came out fairly easy it should be fine. Check the sear to see if it is twisted or bent. Same withthe on/off pin

While I can't see the sear getting damaged--the on/offpin is in real danger of getting bent if you remove the valve at innapropriate times.

the on/off pin and sear do not look bent. though when I gas the marker it fires once and then if i pull the trigger it goes full auto sometimes, other times i will hold the trigger back so it doesnt fire and the sear will not push the trigger foward even though the marker is gased. ill take pics tomorrow

Like the others said its the on/off pin. It tends to be protruding into the body when the marker is degases and you don't have your finger on the trigger making it almost impossible to get out without bending it.
