    Racegun-frame on a 'Mag?

Been searching a little and I can't find anything at all. I have though seen a pic with a E-bladed 'Mag. Are there any simularitys between the E-blade and the Racegun that makes it fully possible to put it on a 'Mag?

The story behind all of this is that I want to build an electro-mag and now I might get hold of a Racegun-frame from a friend.

So, could that be done? I can't find any schematics or pictures of how the Race-frame looks like inside and how it's built.

I have been reading Scotts' "Ionized 'Mag"-thread for a while and I have read a couple of others threads about electro-mags as well, so I quite understand what it's all about.

Thank you understanding and loving people of the AGD-country.

    Cheers!

Most likely you could. RaceGun frames and eBlade frames are pretty much the same thing, just different companies and different boards. I believe they even use the same 5way (don't quote me on it, though.)

I have a RaceGun frame sitting right next to me. I know the wholes match up with standard 'Mag frames, and it *looks* like there's enough room for a chopped sear (by that I mean without the rod and clevis). I'll take some pics tomarrow and post 'em.

The only thing I'd be worried about is the battery. Are you using an ANS copy or an Actual RaceGun frame? If you're using an ANS clone, you can use a 9vlt. If you're using a RaceGun frame, you'll have to use the rechargable 4.8vlt battery. I'm no physics or electrical major, but I don't know if that would be enough to trip the sear. But then, I have no idea.

Actually, the Race's sear system is different from the E-Blade's. I don't know how this is gonna affect the project though. And just for clarification, Race uses a different pneumatics solenoid as well.
