My E-Mag hasn't been used in a year or so and I discovered I had a bad battery when I tried to fire it up recently. Got a new battery delivered yesterday (thanks Tuna) but I'm having some weird results.
If I connect my old battery, I get the usual 'AGD 3.0' display as I'd expect (although I'll then get a low-batt message if I try firing).
If I connect the new battery (have tried after both a 4hr and an overnight charge) I get 'AGD 3.0' appear, but it's all flickery and dim - the screen then fills with garbage characters and the solenoid doesn't activate with trigger pulls.
It does the same thing with the trigger magnet wound fully in (and even removed), so I don't think it's hall-sensor interference.
I've checked that the board ground screw is tight and the +ve connection nut is screwed down well. Tonight I need to check the voltage that the new battery is putting out following a charge.
Anyone experienced this? Any other suggestions as to what might be causing it?
