    micromag super reactive.. HELP!

I have a micromag RT. It has a level X, stock benchmark double finger frame. When I pull the trigger it is super reactive basically going into fully auto. It does not do it if you pull if down completely and release, but it will sometimes fire on the pull and release of the trigger. I know you can sweet spot them, but this basically happens non stop with any pull. How can I reduce the reactivity? What is the sear rod length supposed to be? and what is the on/off pin length supposed to be?

    any help would be appreciated.

Phizz, The RT on/off pin should be .750 If that looks ok then check your sear & bolt for wear.

try replacing all the orings in the on/off including unscrewing the on/off halves and replacing that oring .... newer orings will tighter on the on/off pin and may know down some of the reactivity. If you have a adjustable tank regulator turn down the input pressure to the marker.

The tank is a preset crossfire so I think 850 psi. Thanks for the tips Iwill give them a try.

If your sear rod length is to long it will not allow your on off pin to open up all the way and the marker will not fire at all. If it is too short it will do exactly as you are experiencing with your mag now. Try adjusting it out 1/2 turn at a time until it stops going into runaway and double fireing. I have found that mags vary in tolerances and exact measurements don't always work. It will take a little trial and error but this should correct your problem as long as your on off pin is the correct one and your O-rings are fine.
