try turning up the velocity and putting a few drops of oil in the asa adapter.

il try that... ive oiled it quite a bit though. I think something might be wrong with the on/off. There is no air pushing the pin back down. maybe air is not getting to it? theres no leaks though, so the air is just sitting in the valve.

How could i check to see if the air is getting to the on/off? Could i just remove the on/off assembly, then gas it up?

Hmm. Nothing. The air is just sitting there in the valve.

I tried again, and it started to leak out of the on/off area! Yeah! So i reassembled it, but, no luck. didn't work. tried to test the valve again and this time, no leak.

if your not getting air out of the on/off hole when you have the on/off removed you either need to turn up the velocity or you have something blocking the air flow try removing the regulator valve pin and check for debris

One thing I noticed is if you screw the air fitting ALL THE WAY into the valve it seals up. The air fitting should be tightened to the point where it is snug and doesn't leak and then a half turn or so more (with plenty of threding still not screwed into the hole). Ditto with the fitting to the ASA.

Here are seperate things to try:

Make sure your valve and reg body (the back part) are lined up properly.

(with the gun NOT gassed up)

Unscrew the back half of the reg and check to see if there is anything blocking the holes (there should be 2 one down the middle and one off centre).

With the two pieces unscrewed...the back half will have a rubber bumber on it which is the reg seat. Take this out and give it a wipe with your fingers and make sure it is clean. MAKE SURE you put it in the SAME WAY it came out. It looks simetrical on either side but it isn't.

With the two pieces unscrewed..the middle part should have a pin sticking out, which wil go through the centre hole of the back half with a spring on the bottom (which you can't see until you pull it out). Gently pull this pin out (it comes straight out don't turn it), and remove any debris collected on it. Replace it by firly pushing it into the hole it was it (the spring should be just about obscured from view if it is back in correctly).

Level 7 bolt or level 10 bolt? I'm betting level 7. If using a level 7 bolt, try using a longer powertube spacer.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.
