    RT ASA Removal Help!

I am trying to remove the two vert asa screws on from the metal RT foregrip extender. Are they loctited in? What's the deal. I'm afraid I'm going to round out the hex heads.

If they are locktited, depending on what kind was used, try to add heat and see if that will loosen it. Boil some water and sit it in there for a minute and then try to loosen them.

Hmmm, yeah. I was wondering if they had red loctite on them... Anyone know for sure?

Yikes. Ok, tried boiling it all and no luck! Guess it's time to hit the BST, huh?

        Any ideas?

Hey, I had the same prob with the same screws on an RT rail once. Once I got them out I found there was no loctite. Its probably the first time they'd ever been taken out. They must crank'em in pretty good from the factory.

No joke. My allen was slipping and rounding out the top of the screws! No matter. I just sent paypal on another.

            Thanks for the help, fellas.
