    xvalve needs help

alright so i recently bought a tac one.

good news i finally found a used one yay!

bad news standard allen wrenches dont fit into the back of the valve okay. pm the guy about it says get metric. i go get a metric set they fit even worse............... the threads are stripped on back of the valve. more bad news gun is shooting mad hot and i cant adjust it.

degas the gun and try adjusting the velocity.

        The second one.
        Says it's for RT/X valves.

You need the R/T reg nut, and a good 1/8" allen wrench

I wonder what else the previous owner hacked up in that valve...

so do i just twist it off? i dont like to just force stuff.

also i stuck a standard allen wrench down into the adjustment area and i got some purchase but im twisting valve isnt moving and the allen wrench is so should i continue to twist and break whatever the hell this guy did? i want my mag to work

on an x-valve, that whole silver piece unscrews out. My advice would be to first try a simple strap wrench if you have one on the outside surface of that silver piece to try to unscrew it. (DE-GASSED of course!!).

If that didn't work, then instead of pliers I'd use vise grips. You may scar the crap out of that silver piece, but you are replacing it anyways.
