    Hyper frame/Spyder/E-lcd

Ok I have a Hyper frame and an E-lcd Spyder frame. The noid seems to be getting weak in the Hyper but the E-lcd seems strong. It was never used much when I had a Syder it's been in the closet for probably eight years. I know the Syder ran of a 9.6 rechargeable battery but i don't have one and don't really want to buy one. So I'm wondering if the Spyder noid will run in the Hyper frame off of a regular 9volt? I really just want to switch out the noids but still use a 9volt. Does anyone know why it uses a 9.6 does the noid require that much power or was it just what they decided to use?

Are you sure it's the solenoid that's getting weak, and not the capacitor?

No I'm not sure...just assumed it is the noid. Is there a way to test so I know for sure?

I think your sear leg to noid rod is too close. It needs a small gap @ 1/32 to 1/16 in order to pick up enough speed. Also an RT on/off with a .750 pin or a ULT is needed for proper operation. Don't use the old style stock HyperFrame on/off it will chew up your bolt/sear...
