Ok I have a Hyper frame and an E-lcd Spyder frame. The noid seems to be getting weak in the Hyper but the E-lcd seems strong. It was never used much when I had a Syder it's been in the closet for probably eight years. I know the Syder ran of a 9.6 rechargeable battery but i don't have one and don't really want to buy one. So I'm wondering if the Spyder noid will run in the Hyper frame off of a regular 9volt? I really just want to switch out the noids but still use a 9volt. Does anyone know why it uses a 9.6 does the noid require that much power or was it just what they decided to use?

I think your sear leg to noid rod is too close. It needs a small gap @ 1/32 to 1/16 in order to pick up enough speed. Also an RT on/off with a .750 pin or a ULT is needed for proper operation. Don't use the old style stock HyperFrame on/off it will chew up your bolt/sear...Comment
