    ACE Wiring Diagram

Ok, gotta a weird ACE issue on my euro xmag (which uses a wire harness and not the PC board). I was installing a 12volt warp off the battery piece (X-Power module from AGDE) and got it fully working and buttoned everything up and the ACE stopped working according to X-mod software. )(*#*@#$.

Took the X-Power parts off... no luck. I'm guessing it had to do with fitting all the wires in and I smashed something.

I took my other euro xmag (#2) with working ACE and put them side by side and switched the wire hardness (basically the whole ACE setup less the red power wire to the board) and neither worked. But then switched back and the original ACE setup is fine in #2.

Any ideas or ways to test? I'm thinking the board is not fried because everything else works fine and if I do a dirrect connect on the ACE harness on the board using a wire it lights up on Xmod.

The only ACE diagram I've seen is: http://www.airgun.com/xmag/html/ace.html

Also, any source for parts such as the potentiometer/sensitivity adjuster or the infrared detector (which looks IDENTICAL to an eblade eye)?

    Thanks!

Also, any particular reason you power the ACE through the 5th hole on the left side of the board? Can you use other holes?

Yea - I took it ALL apart and fixed it - one of the wires to the infrared detector was cut.

So - anyone know any source for parts such as the potentiometer/sensitivity adjuster or the infrared detector?

I can understand why the PC board ACE would be hard to get small amounts of, but it seems the wire harness version would be easy...

Stock setup - milled channel in body for wiring and potentiometer at back of grip frame.

          My ghetto wiring diagram.

                Bought 10 of these sensors:

from a UK distributor (RS Components LTD) and wired it in and it works like a champ!

Ok - here is the updated output:

Looking down on the top of the eye (as if you were a paintball), we'll use a car analogy. The flad side of the IR is the front.

Driver: Red 5v power wire to emag board
Passenger: Black wire to potentiometer and 1st/bottom pin on jumper
Rear Driver Side: Green wire to potentiometer and 3rd from bottom pin on jumper
Rear Passenger Side: Power off the 5v red with a resister wired in series

The resister is blue with the following stripes:

                  Red
                  Green
                  Black
                  Black
                  .
                  .
                  .
                  Red

Anybody know what that is? Also, any sources for potentiometers?

Otherwise I think you could get this setup on any emag board without too much drama, the wireing is not that complex.
