    RT sear question

I have an x-valve, lvl 10, ult, intelliframe. Since I've switched rails to a shadow rail I had to switch to an RT sear and my trigger pull feels longer. I could walk it before but now I can't. I'm using the max shims I can use. One more shim makes it full auto. Just wondering if that's normal and what I might be able to do to make it walkable again. Thanks!

If I had to wager a guess I would think that the shadow rail is probably new and has tighter tolerance and is rubbing on the sear ... disassemble the marker and set both rails next to each other and then install the sear in the stock rail and move it back and forth and then try it with the shadow rail and see if there is a difference.

There is nothing for the sear to rub on the RT style ULE rails.

Ah my experience is with classic valve and automag/minimag rails, learn something new every day.
