how can i get my mag faster

i have a x-valve, lvl 10 and ULT with intelliframe

right now i can probably manage 13ish bps...with walking the trigger i can only do quick 3-5 round bursts but they are up over 15 bps. My intelliframe trigger has no set screws, would these help any? and right now my ULT has 1 shim less than the max, but with max shims it doesnt shoot well...right now my setup is decent, i just played today through 1500 balls with no breaks.

how can i get a slight increase of bps with mysetup, or how can i get the trigger to bounce with/without set screws what would be better

    thanks

you could get an adjustable tank and set the input pressure a little higher, around 1000psi. this will give you more reactivity and be able to bounce your trigger to higher speeds.
Its one option, I'm sure people will chime in with others in a bit.

I'll second that, your best bet to increase your ROF is to upgrade to an adjustable tank. The AGD Flatline can go all the way up to 1200 psi output.

I covered my upgrade to a Flatline in my AGD Chronicles:

im assuming there are no upgrades for a crossfire 68/4500 high pressure tank...

i guess i could sell it and then get a new tank, does increasing the tank regulator pressure waste more air?

or can you just buy the agd flatline regulator?

Ah, you did not actually read my Chronicles post. I used to get 1000 - 1100 shots from a 68/4500 tank. With the Flatline set to 1100 psi, I get more like 800 shots.

The shops around here cannot shim a Crossfire for me (they can readily do a Pure Energy). You can get a Crossfire tank preset to a specific output by Crossfire.

If you get a Flatline, you will use your tank, but the Crossfire regulator will be removed. Since Crossfire high pressure regs are so good for AGD markers, you should then either keep the reg for your own future use or sell it.

                hmmm

so you can shim a tank and increase pressure output? maybe i will check with local shops

and what about set screws in the trigger, will they help?

The only one I have ever used is the upper, to take any slack out of the trigger.

I haven't tried it yet but this is my next upgrade after upping my reg. pressure

With increased reg pressure (1000psi) and this mod you'll have less trigger travel and still the reactivity you had before installing the ULT. Luke's worked with AGD to optimize the whole thing the way it should have been done the first time. It'll be one of the cheapest upgrades from what I can tell.

If you put trigger stops in place you have less wasted trigger movement and a more positive feel that you have pulled and released the trigger. Another thing youwill want to do is shim the side of your trigger. Removing side to side play gives you a smoother trigger pull which results in a faster more crisp pull.

Air input pressure has no effect on efficiency. The valve has its own regulator that keeps the chamber pressure constant. The air in the chamber is always the same volume and pressure to fire a ball at the the set velocity no matter what the tank pressure is set to. It just gets into the chamber faster if you have a higher pressure input.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

ok so for now i am going to try and find a shop to shim my tank, if not trade for a flatline. probably tune up my trigger with screws and shims for minimal slop.

and has anyone else tried the sear mod posted earlier in this thread? i am curious about it

The sear mod reduces the length of the trigger pull but sacrifices the pull force required. That is why it is only recommended with the ULT. Apparently it works quite well.
