    EMAG Electronics technical question

Does the solenoid have to be at the angle it is in in the emags' frame to operate?
Or is that just the optimal performance?

    Of course it works-its AGD

The solenoid is at that angle to fit in the grip frame properly. The sear was then made with the extra arm extension to maximize the force exerted by the solenoid. Maximum pull force is exerted when the solenoid is pulling parallel to the tangent of the rotation of the sear. Basically, the solenoid should be pulling at a 90 degree angle near the end of an arm that is lined up with the pivot point of the sear. You can't change one without changing the other.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

I'm having a hard time visualizing this, could you post a picture with this drawn into it with paint or something?

Short answer is that it isnt even optimal iirc.

You still trying to fit it into a chimera or something?
