has anyone ever shimmed a crossfire 68/4500 high pressure tank to increase output pressure?

anyone know of a kit or anyone else who has successfully shimmed one? -
I had my evil 88/5000 shimmed for a while. I used a filed down washer to shim the spring pack. As the washer at original thickness caused a huge jump in output pressure(almost 1800psi). I took it out after a few months as I use the tank for more than my automag.
