What is the best Minimag barrel?

By best i mean most accurate for that model any opionions or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I bought it with a 14" DYE Barrel. Also do any sites still sell automag barrels or is it a rarity? Also some suggestions on a good HPA or N2 tank to buy would be appreciated.

Any barrel that properly fits the paint is the best barrel. Ideally it should also be about 11" in length before any porting for maximum efficiency.

Crossfire makes a good high output tank that can keep up to the recharge of a mag.
Except for the Automag in front, its usually the man behind the equipment that counts.

Since you asked, Tom Kaye wrote articles about barrel efficiency and bore sizing...

Since the articles specificall apply to Automags it's as good of an answer as you're going to get.

You can still find twist lock barrels if you look around. I know a local paintball store that still had twist lock Dye Boomsticks, and recently I heard that Smart Parts has some Freak backs sitting in a wearhouse gathering dust. You have nothing to loose by calling around.

I've been using a 16" all american barrel with good results. But for the minimag you probably would like something shorter. Btw i usually shoot draxxus paint. (fitting .689 size)

dye SS, taso pro series SS.

or a BOA if you can find one (it wont be cheap)

i have a dye SS and a taso SS and they are both accurate as hell... i prefer the taso just cuz its a 10"
