Leak out Back out the Velocity Adjuster Hole

So my buddy and I were tuning my X-valve today. We got the thing tuned but for some reason air just comes out the back of the valve where the allen key goes in. Can anyone tell me whats up?

Velocity is too high. Turn it back down and you should be OK.

but I usually crank all my valves up that high
